Vision

The vision of Unitas Secondary School is:

• to promote career-oriented subjects like Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism, and Computer  Application Technologies, to create more job opportunities to educate learners holistically, in the psychological, mental and physical fields.

• a multi-cultural school that strives towards developing the excellence of each individual's talents learning, and teaching, thus empowering each one to contribute towards the upliftment of our nation.

• to motivate learners through education to initiate and create a better social and economic environment for South Africans.

• to inculcate in the learners through the creative discipline of learning and competition, the values and joy in accomplishment.

The mission statement Unitas Secondary school is:

Out of the resources available to it, to provide for all the learners and Unitas Secondary  School provides the best opportunity possible to all learners to achieve a high standard of education.

We, the community of Unitas Secondary School, commit ourselves to being a self-reliant learning school.

In doing this, we will ensure that our school provides relevant and quality learning experience to learners and all stakeholders in the school community. We will do this by:

• placing teachers and learners first in everything we do in our school;

• giving our teachers opportunities to develop and improve their teaching skills.

• preparing our learners to become responsible and active members of society.

• working hard to raise support on commitment from the community so that we can modernise and develop the school premises fully; and

• sharing the school's resources with the whole school community

We achieve these goals through co-operation with one another, and full dedication and commitment to teaching and learning.
